Vee Smit
As Director of SPACE STUDIO and SPACE PROCUREMENT, Vee’s focus is to lead a client responsive practice and deliver effective, inspired design. This approach has been established through significant experience on major projects that require a balance between innovative design and operational imperatives.
Vee has worked nationally and internationally over the past 25 years. Her experience has covered hospitality, hotel, leisure, retail, commercial, healthcare and residential design. This experience means that he has a unique understanding of the quality and attention to detail that complex interiors projects demand.
Brogen Averill
Brogen Averills portfolio comprises major assignments for a whos who of international brands as well as a tasty selection of niche design projects.
After working with design agencies in London and Paris, Brogen worked in Europe and the UK. From big brand design for Citroen and SFR in France
and Panasonic and Heineken in Holland, to niche projects such as a Gilles Fournier album design, Brogen has gained an enviable international reputation
as a versatile designer.
Returning to New Zealand in 2004, Brogen brought his distinct European style to bear on a range of projects from branding to signage, packaging to web.
Recent design work includes The Department Store, To Sir With Love, Essenze, Karen Walker and design for other corporate entities. Brogen was also asked
in 2010 to collaborate with Matisse Interiors for Urbis Design Day.
Design in all its forms continues to drive Brogens creative ethos. His fascination with European industrial furniture and Bauhaus has seen him
more recently delve into other areas of design.

During this time he has successfully completed projects ranging from corporate office, retail, hospitality through to residential, for clients such as St George Bank, Coffey, Telecom, Pumpkin Patch, Montana Wines, DDB, Air New Zealand and Placemakers.
