Keep an eye on the calendar of events, and the members-only classified section for job opportunities or spaces to rent. We also send out a regular newsletter to members.

Appellation PDINZ
As a Professional Member you are entitled to use the appellation PDINZ. This allows you to use the appellation on business cards and other communications.

Voting
As a Professional Member you are eligible to have your say and vote.

Board
As a Professional Member you are able to stand for election for Board at the next AGM Board election.

Strategic Development
As a Professional Member you will be invited to participate on working parties that establish strategies and proposals for the Designers Institute that will build deeper relationships with government and other external organisations that benefit and advance the value of design and raise the profile of the Institute as the Industry voice.

Continuing Education Programme (CPD)

DINZ develops a range of services to assist members in growing their skills, knowledge and expertise – for people in all stages of their career. Seminars are held around the country as part of the ‘DINZ Means Business’ programme, which covers Designers Speak, Design Talk, Design Business, Design Law and Design Skills.

Legal Support

As a member of DINZ you’re entitled to legal consultation with our honourary solicitors, Clendons. This service is a fifteen-minute phone consultation, and DINZ also offers a mediation service. Legal issues such as intellectual property law, copyright, disputes and setting up professional engagements and services are covered in seminars available in the DINZ Means Business “Design Law” series.

Complimentary Prodesign subscription

This is the official magazine of DINZ, a unique publication that reflects the interdependence of the three core commercial design disciplines: spatial, product and graphic design.
