What this major covers
The first year of this major focuses on visual, technical and production skills and explores the design of fabrics. Studio-based papers are supported by fashion theory and elective options. In the second year, in the studio, students use specialist print and knit software to create fabric-for fashion products. In the final year of the degree, students put these skills into practice through innovative self directed projects that cover a broad spectrum of textile related disciplines.
