MULTIMEDIA DESIGN - L7 Bachelor of Design
Delve into an exciting exploration of new media, including 2D and 3D animation, interactivity, 3D design modelling, lighting and lens-based media for the screen. You will gain a broad base of knowledge and skills to equip you for a career as a creative and innovative animator or designer in a challenging and competitive market.

Duration

Entry criteria
Either
• 42 NCEA credits at Level 3 or higher, including 14 credits in each of three subjects.
• 8 NCEA literacy credits at Level 2 or higher in English or Te Reo Mäori; 4 credits must be in reading and 4 credits must be in writing; and
• 14 NCEA numeracy credits at Level 1 or higher in Mathematics or Pangarau.

• CPIT’s L4 Certificate in Design.
and
• A portfolio with examples of recent work across a range of media (contact the School for details).
