L4 Certificate: 1 year full time
L7 Diploma: 2 years full time
Entry criteria for L4 Certificate in Fashion Technology & Design
• A minimum of 12 NCEA credits at Level 2 or higher in English or a subject that shows written English skills
• A minimum of 12 NCEA numeracy credits at Level 1 or higher in Mathematics
• Basic computing skills including keyboarding and word processing skills, eg Keyboarding US101, Word processing US111, Word Intermediate US112, Computing Skills US2780.

Entry criteria for L7 Diploma in Fashion Technology & Design
Either
• Successful completion of the Certificate in Fashion Technology and Design Level 4
or
• Sufficient equivalent evidence from previous fashion industry work, educational or life experience (please contact the School of Art & Design office for relevant guideline).
