The idea of having a purpose designed coin operated shopping cart, combined with an interactive ride-in toy that would excite and entertain the minds of children whilst parents went shopping, provided the basis for the brief. n nComplex issues of ergonomics, safety, mechanics and carrying capacities had to be calculated and balanced whilst the final design aesthetic had to project a sense of fun!
