She began her career working as a graphic designer with PeterHaythornthwaite Design in 1994 before purchasing and relaunching the company with two of her colleagues. Her experience combines a strong graphics background with a passion for environmental design. Bella has won numerous national and international awards, including New Zealand Young Designer of the year in 1996, a Stringer in 1998 and a SEGD award (USA) in 1999.
