About Grant Alexander

Grant has thirty years experience in the design business and co-founded New Zealand's largest design company with Ray Labone, in the early 1980's. For the following 20 years he helped build the business ,managing large brand identity and investor communication projects for New Zealand corporates.nnSince 1999, he has built a new design company (Studio Alexander) from scratch with his daughter Kate. Recent high profile projects include a new envrionmental signage system for central Auckland, and brand strategy and design for Aucklands newest entertainment offering.nnGrant is a fellow of the Designers Institute of New Zealand and his achievements include: several Best Design Awards, convenor of previous Best Design Awards programmes, founder of the designworks student fellowship programme and contributor to Urbis and Pro-Design magazines.
