The Pond began in 2005 and, as the name suggests, we're a pool of self-employed professionals - writers, designers, art directors and interactive people who contract to advertising, design, PR, media and interactive agencies.

Our model is unique. The best way to view us is a kind of floating creative department you can use as the need arises. It's the ultimate in flexible resourcing when you think about it.

On the one hand, you can call us for a quick one-off writing or design job that you need by the next day. On the other hand, we can sort a 'puddle' of creatives that fit with your culture to take on bigger projects such as a re-branding exercise.

Needless to say, matching people to jobs is key. Supporting all Pond inhabitants are a small team of Pond staffers - Sue Worthington, fellow co-director, Leighton Howl, and day-to-day man on the ground, Clinton Ulyatt.
